Recruitment Tips

We know how nerve racking going through recruitment can be at times so we made a few tips to help ease your stress and hopefully get you excited about this chance to GO GREEK. These tips are just a few things to keep in mind and hopefully will help you along your journey as you get taste of greek life.

#1 Keep an open mind! Don’t be afraid to branch out on your own and pick what organization you think suits you best. Its important to realize that your HOME may not be your best friend from high schools HOME, and that is perfectly fine. Branching out and meeting new faces can be a great thing to do as you begin your college experience.

#2 Don’t be afraid to talk to the recruitment counselors!! They are there to help make you feel more comfortable and to answer any questions you have about the whole process. The girls who lead you through this amazing week are there to comfort YOU!

#3 Just be yourself. Although this seems obvious, we cannot express this enough!! Don’t try to fit a certain mold of each individual organization. We, as greek women, want to know the real you and can't wait to learn what makes each of you unique.

#4 Ask each organization questions and be open about your likes and dislikes! Don’t be afraid to express what you’re looking for through Greek life. Your openness makes it so much easier for you to find your place in the greek community.

#5 Try not to be too nervous.  Greek life is just one of the many great organizations on campus and we are here to help make your college experience enjoyable and offer you support along the way. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just be you and enjoy this experience. We can't wait to share a taste of greek life with you!
